Redmi Note 13 Pro Series to Feature 1.5K Display Comparable to Flagships

Redmi has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Note 13 series in September. Excitingly, recent revelations indicate that both devices in the Pro series (Note 13 Pro and 13 Pro Plus) will come equipped with a second-generation 1.5K high-gloss eye protection display.

This new display boasts cutting-edge luminescent materials typically found in flagship devices, offering a remarkable peak brightness of 1800nits. It also supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and high-brightness DC dimming, prioritizing eye protection for users.

What’s more, the Redmi Note 13 Pro has been granted triple TUV Rheinland eye protection certification, underscoring its ability to alleviate eye strain and fatigue during prolonged usage.

Redmi has already released promotional posters of both smartphones, providing a sneak peek at their design. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features a curved screen, while the Pro version sports a flat screen. Both phones are expected to sport AMOLED displays with in-screen fingerprint sensors.

In terms of design, the Pro+ model stands out with its leather back adorned with raised camera rings, whereas the Pro version opts for a glass back with a raised camera island. Both variants of the Note 13 Pro will house a formidable 200MP main camera, though only the Pro+ will benefit from optical image stabilization (OIS).

Furthermore, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has been confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chip and will pack a substantial 5,120mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. On the other hand, rumors suggest that the 13 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Xiaomi has officially set the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series in China on September 21st. According to reports, reservations for these devices are already open on major e-commerce platforms within the mainland.
