A First Look at the OnePlus Pad Go; Launching Soon in India

OnePlus is not content with just one tablet release; they’re set to make their mark in the tablet market. As confirmed, the Chinese electronics manufacturer is currently developing the OnePlus Pad Go, scheduled for an imminent launch in India. The device has already been teased through their official social media channels and is listed on Flipkart. Furthermore, a new photo has surfaced via Digital Trends, providing us with a comprehensive view of the device.

What to Expect from the OnePlus Pad Go?

Upon examining the latest image of the OnePlus Pad Go, it’s evident that the tablet sports a two-tone design on its rear side. A portion surrounding the camera is in a darker color tone, while the rest adorns a lighter shade.

In an interview, OnePlus President and COO, Kinder Liu, shared some insights into the device’s display specifications. This upcoming budget-friendly tablet will not compromise on display quality, boasting a 2K panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio, similar to the OnePlus Pad. Its larger counterpart features an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a pixel density of 296ppi.

The “mid-tier entertainment tablet” is expected to deliver superior display quality compared to its competitors in the same category. Additionally, the display will incorporate eye-care features and support Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio.

On the software front, the OnePlus Pad Go will introduce a Content Sync feature, enabling OnePlus users to seamlessly sync clipboard content and share files using gestures between smartphones and the tablet. It will also feature a shared hotspot for data sharing between phones and tablets, as well as screen mirroring, notification synchronization, and call management. OnePlus aims to enhance cross-device integration between its tablets and smartphones with more upcoming features.

The OnePlus Pad Go will operate on OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13, with an update to Android 14 expected shortly after.
