As its release date approaches, Realme has revealed the chipset powering the Realme GT Neo 6 SE. The mid-range smartphone from the company is set to utilize the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3.

It has been officially confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will be the first smartphone to adopt this robust chipset from Qualcomm.

According to reports from GSM Arena, the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset is expected to deliver performance on par with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, owing to their shared 4nm process technology.

If this confirmation holds true, the new SoC will feature a CPU configuration comprising a combination of 1+3+2+2 cores. Previously, the OnePlus Ace 3V had surfaced on Geekbench with a 1+4+3 core configuration.

The chipset’s main core is clocked at 2.8 GHz, as indicated by Realme’s official confirmation, establishing the Realme GT Neo 6 SE as the pioneer device to utilize this chipset.

Earlier rumors suggested that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will also boast an LTPO OLED display, offering improvements over its predecessor.

With the reliance on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to outperform its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE. However, confirmation regarding the device’s release is still pending from Realme.
